Near the new Stuckey's where the Midway Restaurant is now, there used to be Loraine's Restaurant. Lord knows when that was, the late 1980s, the early 90s?
The same place was another restaurant before (the Homestead, maybe, I forget) and a number of restaurants thereafter. The Blue Moose sticks in my mind. Jack's Roadside Grill I forgot about, but it's still listed online. There were other names under other management.
Anyway, the above image off my brother's old jacket is one of the few things left of Loraine's. It was an old haunt of his well after the jacket was obsolete.
